Technical Helpdesk Support - Inteq Business

Here at GXO, we are recruiting Technical Helpdesk Support to work for our Inteq business. You'll play a key role in supporting our clients' automated warehouse solutions, working alongside experienced colleagues to investigate issues, provide support, and continuously learn new technologies. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to develop their skills as part of our Support team.
This is a permanent, full-time role supporting our 24/7 operation. You’ll work a rotating Monday to Friday shift pattern (05:30–14:00, 13:30–22:00 and 21:30–06:00), with weekend on-call support when scheduled on the morning shift. The role offers a hybrid working environment, combining home working with time in our Milton Keynes office and occasional visits to customer locations.
The varied shift pattern provides opportunities to collaborate with different teams across the operation and contribute to a responsive, effective support service, with dedicated overlap time between shifts to support smooth handovers.
Pay, benefits and more
We’re looking to offer a salary of £26,000 to £32,000, depending on experience and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company-sponsored pension scheme and private medical cover.

What you’ll do on a typical day
- Providing 2nd–3rd line support for system-related issues, investigating incidents and delivering fixes within SLA
- Triaging tickets, updating information, and escalating to relevant teams where needed
- Communicating with customers through phone, email, and support software to deliver clear updates and technical insight
- Running system monitoring tools, analyzing data, and reporting findings
- Taking ownership of technical problems, applying logic and creativity to keep systems performing at their best
What you need to succeed at GXO
- Experience in technical support, customer service, warehouse operations, IT, or another role involving troubleshooting and problem-solving would be beneficial
- Knowledge of SQL, Azure, WMS/WCS, or similar systems would be an advantage, but isn't essential for the right person with the willingness and ability to learn
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- Demonstrable experience or knowledge of working within a warehouse, logistics or comparable operational environment, with the ability to understand operational processes, systems and the needs of end users
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally when required
