The Role
The Technical Impact Assessor reports to the Change & Release Management Team Leader. You'll support the change & release management function by assessing the impact of high impact & complex changes to provide enhanced understanding of impact to customers & stakeholders in a highly complex environment. They administer and supervise the value proposition within the change & release management function. Empowered to break silos, develop themselves, the tools & the processes with which they work.
You'll identify opportunities for improvement within their area and within the existing processes; collaborate with their manager, stakeholders & specialist resources to assist the decisions for which improvements take priority to implement and then assist to get them delivered.
Another key part of the role is to lead by example; being a process facilitator and an advocate of the change & release management function, controlling their area to ensure their area performs against KPI’s with thorough communication & governance with stakeholders & customers

The Must Haves
- Understand principles of change management
- Proven ability to understand network topology diagrams
- Experience of and exposure to change management environments and teams across a complex infrastructure with expansive service levels
- IT/Telecommunications experience and transmission network experience
The Other Stuff We Are Looking For
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Experience working in a Service Management environment
- Exposure or experience within other Service Management Practices or operational environments (e.g., Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Level Management, Configuration Management)
- Experience of Remedy ITSM Toolset
