Technical Implementation Manager | SaaS | Warrington | Hybrid | Competitive salary + benefits
The Company
KDR are working with a growing SaaS business whose technology is used by enterprise customers internationally.
They’re investing heavily in their products and how they deliver them, particularly around data, integrations and AI. As the customer base continues to grow, they’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the more technical side of getting their software working successfully for customers.

The Role
This role sits in the middle of customers, technology and delivery.
You’ll work with customers to get under the skin of what they need, understand how their existing systems work and figure out the best way to make the company's software fit into that environment.

Some days that might mean running a workshop with a customer and talking through a new requirement. Other days you could be digging into SQL, looking at an API issue, working through an integration or sitting with the engineering team to figure out the best approach.
You’ll then stay involved as that solution is built and introduced, making sure the technical pieces come together and the customer gets what they actually need.
It’s not a pure Project Manager role and it’s not a Software Engineering role either. It suits someone who likes being the technical person in the room with the customer, but also enjoys working with engineers to turn those conversations into something that works.
What they're looking for
Your background could be in Technical Implementation, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Technical Business Analysis or a similar client-facing software role.
The important bit is that you can move comfortably between customers and technical teams.

You’ll ideally bring:
- Strong customer-facing experience within software or SaaS
- Good SQL skills and confidence investigating data
- Experience working with APIs and software integrations
- An understanding of how modern software applications fit together
- Experience gathering and challenging technical requirements
- Confidence working directly with Software Engineers and Product teams
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- The communication skills to make technical subjects understandable to different audiences
You don't need to be a developer, but you should enjoy getting into the technical detail rather than immediately passing a problem over to Engineering. The role specifically needs someone comfortable with SQL, APIs and integration work alongside the customer-facing piece.
An interest in AI and how it can be applied to real customer and business problems would also fit particularly well.
