Technical Interview Engineer - Contract
Java |.NET | Python
Remote UK | Flexible Hours | 2-3 Month Contract
We’re working with a global technology client that is expanding its team of Technical Interview Engineers to support software engineering hiring at scale.
This is an opportunity for experienced Software Engineers who enjoy the technical side of interviewing and assessing other developers. You’ll conduct structured technical interviews with engineers globally, evaluating their coding ability, problem-solving approach, and communication skills.
The role is fully remote with flexible scheduling across multiple time zones, making it particularly well suited to experienced engineers looking for a short to mid-term contract.

What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct live technical interviews with Software Engineers
- Assess coding ability, problem-solving skills, and technical fundamentals
- Evaluate how candidates communicate and approach technical problems
- Provide clear and structured feedback following each interview
- Deliver a professional and consistent candidate experience
- Work with an established technical interviewing platform and operations team
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years’ commercial Software Engineering experience
- Strong experience with Java,.NET, or Python
- Good understanding of coding fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Confident and professional communication skills
- Comfortable assessing and discussing technical solutions with other engineers
- Previous technical interviewing experience is beneficial but not essential
- Reliable internet connection, webcam, and microphone

Contract details:
- Initial 2-3 month contract with potential extensions
- ASAP start
- Fully remote within the UK
- Flexible working hours
- Interviews available across multiple time zones
- Ability to fit interview slots around existing commitments
