The opportunity
I'm working with an established insurance business that is putting real effort into AI, and they need a senior, hands-on architect to take ownership of the platform that sits behind it all.
What you'd be doing
You'd report into their senior team, and your job is to make sure what gets built can actually be adopted and run safely inside the business. Day to day that looks like: → Getting into the detail of the programme and working out what the architecture, security, environments and integrations need to look like → Helping the senior team make good decisions and getting them properly signed off → Staying hands-on, improving and extending the platform as it grows → Prototyping where it saves them making an expensive mistake → Helping the engineers around you get better
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
How they work
They move quickly and don't have much time for process for its own sake. AI is part of how they work every day, but they're careful with it, so if your approach is to ship AI-generated code without properly reviewing it, this probably isn't the one for you.
The tech
The platform is Microsoft-first, so you'll need strong C#,.NET and Azure experience, ideally leaning towards backend, cloud-native and serverless.

Their landscape includes App Service, Functions, Container Apps, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Event Grid, Entra ID, Key Vault, API Management, Azure DevOps, Docker and Bicep, with Power Platform where it makes sense.
Who will do well here
→ You've taken products from an early idea into production → You've picked up an existing codebase and made it better without breaking everything → You're comfortable explaining technical trade-offs to senior people who aren't technical → You'd rather shape the work yourself than wait to be told what to do
The practical bit
You'll need to be UK based, and to start within the next 2 weeks
