Ready to take your career global?

Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Technical Lead, Agentic Commerce Engineering to join our ever-evolving agentic commerce engineering team and help shape the future of global commerce.

What you’ll own

We are building the future of autonomous commerce. As AI agents begin to discover products, compare options, build carts, and initiate purchases on behalf of consumers, the payments layer needs new infrastructure for trust, identity, user intent, authentication, tokenization, fraud signals, and real-time transaction visibility.

As Technical Lead in Agentic Commerce Engineering, you will help define and build that infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who wants to shape a new capability, influence emerging standards, and build systems that handle real transaction flow on a global scale.

AI Agent Integrations

  • Lead the design and delivery of secure checkout and payment APIs that AI agents can invoke reliably and deterministically, including support for concepts such as UCP, ACP, AP2, agentic tokens, delegated credentials, verifiable intent, and MPP.
  • Define platform patterns for agent identity, delegated authority, user intent, authentication, tokenization, fraud signals, evidence records, reporting, and downstream payment integration.
  • Partner with internal teams and external ecosystem participants, including standards groups and AI commerce partners, to help shape practical, interoperable approaches to agent-led payments.

API & SDK Development

  • Architect and ship merchant-facing APIs and SDKs that are easy to integrate, with clear contracts, predictable error handling, strong documentation, sandbox-friendly flows, and excellent developer experience.
  • Champion developer experience by designing for discoverability, fast time-to-first-transaction, reliable testing, and feedback loops from merchants, partners, and external developers.
  • Contribute to API governance and platform standards across the wider engineering organization.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
