Accelerant is changing how software is built.

We're moving from traditional engineering structures towards small, autonomous product squads where engineers own outcomes end-to-end. We're looking for a Technical Lead who combines strong full-stack engineering skills with the technical judgement, communication and leadership to help guide a high-performing squad.

This remains a hands-on engineering role. You'll continue to design, build and ship high-quality software while providing technical direction, mentoring engineers and helping the team solve complex problems. It's about combining strong technical fundamentals with modern AI workflows to deliver meaningful customer impact.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and ship customer-facing products, platforms and intelligent workflows.
  • Own technical solutions from concept through production.
  • Provide technical direction and make pragmatic architectural decisions.
  • Develop scalable APIs, services and modern web applications.
  • Support and mentor engineers while raising technical standards across the squad.
  • Use AI throughout the development lifecycle to accelerate coding, testing, debugging and delivery.
  • Improve reliability, performance, observability and developer experience.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Engineering to solve real customer problems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
