API Management Technical Lead
Mphasis is looking for an experienced API Management Technical Lead to join a strategic client engagement in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in API Management platforms, cloud-native technologies, and DevOps practices, with the ability to lead technical discussions and drive the delivery of scalable, secure API solutions.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering and API technologies
- Strong experience with API Management platforms such as Kong, Apigee, or MuleSoft
- Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and production support
- Strong programming skills in Golang and/or Lua
- Solid understanding of OpenAPI Specification (OAS) and RESTful APIs
- Experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures and automation practices
Preferred Skills
- Expertise with Kong API Gateway
- AWS services (ECS, EKS, MSK)
- CDN, WAF, and networking concepts
- Advanced Golang and Lua development experience

Note: Candidates must be available to work onsite in Glasgow, 5 days per week. Initial engagement is for 6 months with a strong likelihood of extension.
