BESS - Technical Solutions Lead

Based in UK

Experienced BESS engineering professional required to work in a global multidisciplinary team to ensure business success of BESS product and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the BESS industry and a proven track record of managing energy storage engineering projects. Excellent opportunity in the renewable energy sector!

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for BESS solutions in the UK market.
  • Identify and qualify potential BESS customers across various sectors (e.g., utilities, commercial & industrial).
  • Lead the sales process from initial contact through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing BESS customers and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Oversee the delivery of BESS projects, working closely with internal teams (engineering, operations) and external partners.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest BESS technologies, market trends, and regulations.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for BESS projects.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Power Engineering or relevant engineering background.
  • Proven experience in BESS engineering projects.
  • Experience in Europe ideal.
  • Strong understanding of BESS technology.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders effectively.
