React Technical Lead (Developer)
We are looking for an experienced React Technical Lead to provide technical leadership within an Agile delivery team. The role combines hands-on development with day-to-day technical oversight of React developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable front-end solutions.
The Technical Lead will be responsible for sprint-level planning and coordination for the front-end team, code quality governance, technical mentoring, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, engineering standards, and front-end best practices established by the wider React engineering community.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the front-end development activities within a Scrum team.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Architects, and development teams to plan and deliver sprint commitments.
- Break down requirements into technical tasks and support estimation, sprint planning, and backlog refinement activities.
- Provide technical guidance and day-to-day support to React developers.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural principles, and engineering best practices.
- Monitor delivery progress, identify technical risks, and proactively resolve blockers impacting the team.
- Collaborate with Senior React Developers and broader front-end architecture groups to adopt new standards, frameworks, patterns, and development practices.
- Ensure consistent implementation of agreed front-end architectures, design patterns, accessibility requirements, and testing standards across the team.
- Support application design discussions and provide input into technical solution approaches.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to code quality, automation, performance, maintainability, and developer productivity.
- Promote knowledge sharing and mentor team members to improve technical capability and delivery effectiveness.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for front-end development within the Scrum team.

Required Skills
- Strong experience with React.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript development.
- Deep understanding of front-end architecture, component-based development, state management, and API integration patterns.
- Extensive experience with Redux or similar state management frameworks.
- Strong experience integrating applications through RESTful APIs.
- Experience defining and enforcing front-end engineering standards and best practices.
- Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and accessible UI development practices.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent tools.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitLab, branching strategies, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Experience leading code reviews, technical mentoring, and team-level technical governance.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working with enterprise platforms such as Pega Constellation using React SDK.
- Experience with micro-frontend architectures and design systems.
- Familiarity with cloud-native application development and deployment practices.
- Experience implementing quality, accessibility, and testing standards within CI/CD pipelines.
