Technical Lead - Geospatial
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Initial)
Daily Rate: (Inside IR35)
Location: Hybrid / Remote
About The Role
We are seeking a hands on Geospatial Technical Lead to oversee complex data migration and transformation initiatives while driving best in class software development standards. You will bridge the gap between GIS data architecture, cloud engineering, and Agile project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the migration and transformation of enterprise geospatial datasets using FME Workbench, ArcGIS (ESRI), and Advanced SQL.
- Architect, develop, and maintain customer- and user-facing web applications utilizing Python and Azure services.
- Establish automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, maintain API definitions via Swagger, and enforce rigorous testing strategies.
- Lead Scrum activities, including task sizing, estimation, pull request (PR) reviews, and quality assurance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and assist with out-of-hours deployment/troubleshooting when necessary.

Required Experience
Geospatial Expertise: Proven track record with ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise/Pro, spatial database querying (SQL), and enterprise-level FME Workbench pipelines.
Data Migration: Demonstrated success leading large-scale spatial data transformation and migration projects.
