Role Overview
This senior role blends deep expertise in Microsoft Copilot Agents, the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and Microsoft 365. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership in solution architecture, mentor development teams, and engage with clients at an executive level to ensure successful delivery of modern workplace solutions. This hybrid-based role is located either in London or Manchester.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of end-to-end solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot Agents and Power Platform, ensuring scalable and secure architectures
- Define and maintain technical standards across development, promoting best practices in Microsoft 365 and Power Platform
- Oversee development activities, providing technical leadership and conducting code reviews
- Drive end-to-end project delivery, from requirements gathering and architecture through to build and deployment
- Ensure high-quality delivery aligned to governance, compliance, and security standards, particularly within financial services
- Act as a senior technical liaison for clients, translating business requirements into effective technical solutions
- Present proposals and updates to stakeholders, building confidence and demonstrating value
- Stay current with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and AI innovations, championing new tools and approaches to improve delivery and productivity

About the Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience), with relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. PL-600, PL-400, Microsoft 365) desirable
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate, and Power BI
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (e.g. Azure AD, SharePoint, Teams) and integration with custom applications and bots
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot or AI-powered Microsoft 365 services would be advantageous
- Proven experience designing and architecting enterprise-grade, secure, and scalable cloud solutions, ideally within regulated industries
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, including mentoring developers, conducting code/design reviews, and fostering high-performance cultures
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Strategic mindset, aligning technical decisions with business objectives and providing thought leadership on AI and Power Platform innovations
- Strong focus on people development, with a passion for coaching and growing team capability
- High level of accountability, with ownership of deliverables and commitment to quality, performance, and security standards
- Collaborative approach, working effectively across multidisciplinary teams and building trusted relationships with stakeholders
