About the Role
As a Senior Microsoft Business Applications Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform solutions. You'll work closely with Technical Leads and Architects, owning the delivery of work packages while contributing technical expertise across complex transformation programmes.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of individual work packages within larger project workstreams, ensuring delivery to agreed quality standards and timelines.
- Implement Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions based on designs provided by Technical Leads and Architects.
- Design and develop smaller solution components within an established architecture where appropriate.

- Build high-quality custom solutions, including:
- C# Plugins
- JavaScript customisations
- Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls
- Azure Functions
- Deliver robust, maintainable, and scalable code aligned with development best practices.
- Implement AI-powered capabilities, including Microsoft Copilot Studio solutions and autonomous agents.
- Support Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) activities using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
- Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to maintaining high development standards.
- Mentor and support junior team members through technical guidance and collaboration.
- Provide technical input and effort estimates when required.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and minimise technical debt across delivered solutions.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Senior Developer or Technical Consultant working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform.
Required Skills
- Strong development experience with:
- C#
- .NET
- JavaScript
- Modern web technologies
- PCF Control development

Experience integrating Dynamics 365 and Dataverse with Azure services, including:
- Azure Functions
- Logic Apps
- Service Bus

Working knowledge of DevOps and ALM practices.

Experience deploying solutions through Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions pipelines.

Ability to design and develop solution components within a broader technical architecture.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

PL-400 certification (Power Platform Developer Associate), or active progress towards certification.
Preferred Skills
- Experience implementing Generative AI solutions using Azure OpenAI and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Exposure to data migration and transformation activities involving legacy SQL or Oracle platforms migrating into Dataverse.
