We are working in partnership with a well-established mixed use developer to appoint an experienced Technical Manager to join their growing Building Safety and Remediation team.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of complex remediation projects, leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring schemes are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the latest legislative requirements. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of residential developments, collaborating with internal stakeholders, consultants and external partners to drive quality, compliance and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary internal and external design teams to ensure technical information is delivered accurately, on programme and within agreed budgets.
  • Manage the technical delivery of multiple remediation and building safety projects from design through to completion.
  • Oversee the timely discharge of Building Control, warranty and statutory approvals to support programme delivery and successful handovers.
  • Ensure all designs comply with current Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act and relevant industry standards while promoting consistency and best practice across projects.
  • Review and challenge technical solutions to achieve value for money without compromising quality, compliance or buildability.
  • Carry out regular quality assurance inspections on site to ensure construction aligns with approved technical information and company standards.
  • Manage consultant appointments, technical fee budgets, invoicing and cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build strong working relationships with site teams, commercial, construction and customer departments to encourage collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Liaise effectively with Building Control, warranty providers, managing agents, housing associations and other key external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed of emerging legislation, technical guidance, product innovation and industry best practice, ensuring these are embedded into project delivery.
  • Produce and present high-quality technical reports, project updates and board papers for senior leadership.
  • Lead, mentor and develop members of the technical team, creating a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
