About the Role

As a Technical Manager, you’ll be the technical authority for Renewable energy installations across your region. You’ll work closely with our subcontractor network and the office-based project management team to make sure every job is done safely, compliantly, and to a standard you’d be proud of.

Day to day, that means:

  • Owning installation quality across your region — conducting remote reviews and on-site audits (both during and after installation) to maintain Sunsave’s standards
  • Being the go-to technical voice — advising the wider Operations team on solar PV, battery storage, and EV charger installation best practice
  • Onboarding new subcontractors — assessing capability, setting expectations, and helping new teams get up to speed as the network grows
  • Problem-solving on live jobs — supporting installers and project managers when things don’t go to plan, and making sure customers aren’t left waiting
  • Championing compliance — staying on top of building regulations, MCS standards, and Part P requirements, and making sure the business does too
  • Travelling to site when needed — this isn’t a desk job, but it’s not full-time on the tools either. Expect a mix of site visits, remote work, and occasional trips to Sunsave’s London HQ for team events and planning

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
