The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join our Technical team at our Leeds Head Office.
You’ll be responsible for managing the technical requirements of our customers, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure products consistently meet the required food safety, quality and technical standards. You’ll manage supplier and product performance, support new product development and launches, respond to customer requirements and provide high-quality technical support across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage technical requirements across assigned customers, products and suppliers.
- Establish and monitor product quality standards with customers and supplier partners.
- Manage technical aspects of the product development process, ensuring specifications, documentation and launches are delivered to the required standards.
- Investigate out-of-specification products and work with suppliers to agree and implement corrective actions.
- Review customer complaints, identify trends and drive improvements in supplier performance.
- Conduct supplier product quality visits and follow up non-conformances alongside the Compliance team.
- Compile and present technical and quality KPI data to customers.
- Provide expert technical support to internal teams and external customers.
- Monitor emerging technical and commercial risks affecting sourced products.
