About the role:
Our client is a well-established and growing food manufacturer looking to appoint an experienced technical professional to be their Site Technical Manager in a brand new role for the business.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you will have genuine autonomy to lead the technical strategy and develop the team, working closely with senior leadership, customers, and suppliers.

- Lead technical across a chilled food manufacturing environment
- Take ownership of BRCGS, HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, QMS, and technical risk assessments
- Lead, mentor, and develop the technical team
- Act as the key technical contact for major retailers and customers
- Play a leading role in NPD and continuous improvement
- Drive improvements across technical systems, supplier approval, auditing, compliance, digitalization, and technical performance

What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a senior technical / quality role within food manufacturing - chilled food experience advantageous
- Experience supplying UK retail customers
- Strong BRCGS and HACCP experience
- Practical understanding of TACCP & VACCP
- Food Technology degree or equivalent
- Experience leading and developing technical teams
