Technical Manager – Food Industry

Greater Manchester
£60,000 - £65,000 plus benefits

If you're a Technical Manager who enjoys building strong relationships, influencing strategy and leading from the front, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

We're partnering with a successful food manufacturer that has built an excellent reputation, not only for the products they supply to major UK retailers, but also for the positive and supportive culture they've created. Having placed people into the business previously, the feedback has consistently been about the collaborative environment, approachable leadership team and genuine investment in people and development.

This is an opportunity to join a business where your voice will be heard, your expertise valued and your contribution will have a real impact on the future direction of the site.

Why this role stands out

As Technical Manager for the site, you'll be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, helping to shape the technical strategy, drive continuous improvement and influence business-wide decision making.

You'll have the autonomy to lead the technical agenda, while working closely with both internal stakeholders and major retail customers to strengthen relationships, deliver results and ensure the site continues to move forward.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
