About our Line of Business – Cloud & Data Centre Solutions ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd provides all aspects of cloud management, services, and solutions, from initial setup and migration to ongoing operations and optimization. Services include engineering works to design, build and provide facility management service for mission critical environments such data centers, disaster recovery, and business continuity sites.
Together, We Can Make A Significant Impact The Technical Manager is responsible for leading the design, deployment, and management of cloud architectures across AWS and Azure platforms. You apply best practices in cloud engineering and security to mitigate risks associated with new technologies and evolving business needs. The role contributes to the creation of artefacts spanning design, development, and implementation, ensuring that cloud architecture and deployment principles align with overall enterprise technology strategies. You provide leadership in the fulfilment of cloud infrastructure tasks spanning Day 1 and Day 2 activities.

Be Part of Our Success
Participate in the design and implementation of cloud architectures and controls in alignment with enterprise security and compliance guidelines. Assist in the testing and evaluation of new cloud-native services, tools, and deployment models to ensure scalability, resilience, and security. Recommend cloud products, services, and deployment procedures to enhance overall system architecture design. Document the design, operation, use, and expected outputs of AWS and Azure cloud environments. Implement new enterprise cloud solutions, services, and enhancements across Day 1 (deployment) and Day 2 (operations) activities. Resolve issues that arise during cloud deployments, migrations, and integrations. Identify opportunities to scale up and automate infrastructure and processes through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions. Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and security gaps, and propose continuous improvements. Oversee the maintenance of cloud platforms, services, and associated automation tools. Develop and implement disaster recovery drills and simulation tests for critical workloads hosted on AWS and Azure. Provide leadership in the resolution of incidents, performance bottlenecks, and cloud operational challenges.

Qualities We Value
Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices for enterprise-scale deployments. Proven hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure, covering both Day 1 (deployment, configuration, migration) and Day 2 (operations, monitoring, optimization, incident response) activities. Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates; proficiency in Python for scripting and workflow automation is an advantage. Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud environments, with Google Cloud knowledge considered a plus. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, agile, and DevOps-driven teams. Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical ability, and creative problem-solving in cloud deployment, security, and operations. High attention to detail with a focus on quality, scalability, resilience, and cost optimization in cloud solutions.
