Technical Manager
We are working with a successful fashion business who are seeking to appoint a Technical/ Compliance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work across nightwear and loungewear driving quality, fit, and innovation from concept to customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead fit sessions using both live models and mannequins, providing clear and concise fit comments
- Communicate technical updates and specifications to overseas factories, maintaining strong supplier relationships
- Travel to the Far East as needed to support production and quality control
- Oversee the measuring, grading, and full sampling process for each garment
- Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring smooth workflow and development
- Collaborate with merchandisers to meet critical path deadlines and complete QA inspections
- Review garments against test reports to ensure they meet British Standards
- Develop and issue initial technical specifications

You’ll have:
- Proven experience in a similar technical leadership role within fashion, with a deep understanding of garment construction and quality standards.
- An eye for detail, strong communication skills, and ability to prioritize effectively will be key to your success in this role.
- Experience working with supermarkets.
- Experience in compliance and audits, reviewing company policies, internal controls, and operational standards.
