Role Description
This role is subject to -

The Capital Programmes Division is responsible for developing and delivering approximately £100m pa of Major and Minor Capital Programmes across the City.
The Project Management Office team is a central support function which services the wider department, covering resourcing, design, commercials, quality assurance and many other duties. This role sits within the Project Management Office function and will lead the implementation, maintenance, reporting and continuous improvement of the Capital Programmes systems and databases, which underpin the department’s corporate and legal compliance responsibilities.
The Technical Manager will manage staff via direct line management and matrix management to ensure the data relating to the full portfolio is accurate and complete.
The role will contribute to the successful management and delivery of projects on time, to budget and quality.

You will have expert knowledge of data systems as well as the ability to collaborate with specialist partners to develop and sustain a comprehensive database. A thorough understanding of industry-standard project management tools, construction-related information systems and common data environments is essential for this role.
The role holder will lead on the creation of strategic frameworks for the collection, management and retention of data and analytical reporting to support strategic decision-making, and will play a key role in planning management, document control, configuration management, change management and audit processes.
