Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Manager to join our food manufacturing business on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining food safety, quality, legality and compliance systems while ensuring continued adherence to customer, retailer, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Help with managing Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.
- Oversee HACCP systems and food safety controls.
- Manage complaints, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Support and develop technical and quality teams.
- Help drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Complete export paperwork and requests.
- Support with customer requests.

Essential Requirements
- Proven track record in BRCGS standards within food manufacturing.
- Retail customer experience.
- Minimum 5 years of food industry experience.
- Level 4 HACCP qualification.
- Level 4 Food Hygiene qualifications.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety legislation and auditing.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of legislation.
- Experience in export.
