Role Overview:
The Technical Manager – Heat Pumps will be responsible for driving growth, fostering partnerships, and promoting sustainable solutions. They will lead on the efforts to secure new business through the development of forward-thinking solutions across a range of decarbonisation projects, including district heating systems, energy centres, and renewable technology integrations.

What You'll be Doing
This role combines product and technical ownership of the commercial heat pump range with responsibility for developing and managing specifications, providing pre-sales technical support, and building strong relationships with consultants, contractors, architects, and clients. The position involves ensuring solutions comply with relevant UK/EU regulations and industry standards, supporting projects from early design through to delivery, and providing expert guidance on system selection, performance, integration, and lifecycle optimisation. Working closely with sales, product management, engineering, marketing, and operations teams, the role also helps drive specification-led opportunities, protect and convert projects through the sales pipeline, and feed market requirements into product development. A key focus is supporting decarbonisation, retrofit strategies, whole-life performance, reliability, and commercially viable heat pump solutions for complex commercial applications.
