Do you have a background in leading the technical agenda for a fast-paced food manufacturing site?
Are you experienced in managing all technical aspects to ensure legal compliance and retail customer legislation?
MacGregor Black is partnering with a Food Manufacturing Business on the search for a Technical Manager. This is a perm role based in North Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for product quality, safety, integrity, and legality.
- Accountable for the technical and quality assurance function of the site meeting company, legislative, customer, and 3rd party accreditation standards.
- Ensuring that the Technical Team is trained and fit for purpose.
- Ensuring that the company’s quality systems are fully compliant with current standards and customer requirements.
- Maintenance and Leadership of the HACCP and TACCP Plan.

What We're Looking For:


Get help with your application
Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
- BSc in Food Science, Technology, or a related field.
- HACCP Level 4.
- Proven experience in a technical management role within a fast-paced food industry for 5+ years.
- H&S and accident investigation training.
- Relevant food manufacturing experience in a technical or similar role (minimum 7 years).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Salary – c 60k + package.
