Technical Manager (Preservation, Ground Gas and Structural Repairs)

We are looking for a proactive, well-organised Technical Manager (Preservation, Ground Gas and Structural Repairs) to join our small, friendly team at the Property Care Association.

The role will support our preservation (damp and timber), structural waterproofing, ground gas and structural repair sectors, delivering training, technical support and audits, as well as developing technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering training across the relevant sectors
  • Providing technical advice and support to members and stakeholders
  • Leading our Ground Gas and Structural Repair member groups
  • Keeping up to date with relevant codes, standards and regulatory developments
  • Producing technical guidance and consultation responses
  • Representing the PCA at industry meetings and events
  • Undertaking member technical audits and supporting new member applications
  • Managing technical complaints within your areas of expertise

The role is based from our head office in Huntingdon, with regular UK-wide travel required for training, audits and PCA events.
