Technical Manager
Leeds
£65,000 - £75,000 plus package
I'm working with a privately owned developer that builds out its own schemes across the UK. Land, design, technical and construction all sit in-house, so the technical work here actually gets built rather than handed over the fence.
They want someone from an engineering background to pick sites up at consent and deliver them ready to build.
The role:
- Take sites from planning consent through to start on site
- Negotiate and secure Section 38, 278 and 104 agreements through to adoption
- Coordinate levels, drainage and external works design
- Appoint and manage civils, highways and geotech consultants
- Procure utilities, diversions and easements
- Technical due diligence on new acquisitions before exchange

You:
- Civil engineering background, degree, HND or HNC
- Section agreements experience is the non-negotiable
- Solid grasp of levels, drainage and Building Regs
- Comfortable holding consultants to fee and programme
- Technical Coordinators ready to step up will be considered

The package:
- £65,000 - £75,000 depending on experience
- Discretionary bonus paid twice a year
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy more

- Free parking, office based with occasional site visits
