Purpose of the Role
Join the Aftersales team as Technical Manager – Warranty Auditing, where you will lead the delivery of Retailer Warranty audits across the Global Bentley Retailer network. You will be responsible for developing and executing the annual Warranty Audit Plan, ensuring that all planned annual audits are completed to a high standard, associated travel costs are managed and all results are communicated to all stakeholders, both in Crewe and at the relevant Retailer. You will identify training needs and associated action plans as a result of these audits and deliver them to the Retailer network.
Reporting into the Warranty, Analytics & Governance Manager, your main responsibilities include;
- Develop and propose annual Warranty Audit Plans
- Ensure delivery of approximately 50 audits per year across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific
- Develop and Manage the Warranty Auditing Strategy
- Manage associated annual travel budgets and forecasted Warranty Audit income
- Make proposals and have input into centralised training activities and the Global Warranty Policy
- Liaise with counterparts in Group in addition to the Bentley Importer Network in China, America and Japan
- Analyse and summarise key insights, identifying trends and recommending performance improvements in both Warranty and other areas of Aftersales
- Manage Bentley Warranty risks valuing approximately €300k per year

About the Team
The Warranty, Analytics & Governance team sits with the Aftersales department, reporting directly to the Aftersales Director. The team is responsible for Bentley’s Global Warranty Policy, Process and ensuring that the annual Warranty budget is delivered through monitoring trends, controls and identifying cost saving opportunities. The team is also responsible for Aftersales data analysis and reporting including KPI creation. In addition, the team is also responsible for the Governance of Aftersales including budget management, risk management and strategic project management.
About you – Skills and Experience
- Strong numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and creative approach to insight generation
- Proven track record in a similar role, driving continuous improvement
- Attention to detail, being able to identify errors, both large and small
- Strong communicator, confident influencing and constructively challenging at all levels, with experience presenting complex data to support decision-making
- Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated, with the ability to manage priorities and consistently deliver to tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Customer-focused, with a strong commitment to delivering excellent service and satisfaction
- Advanced user of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Willingness to travel overseas for weeklong periods
- Experience managing financial budgets and forecasting
