About the Role
A specialist technology and engineering group are looking for a Technical Manager to join them as a core member of their Executive Leadership Team.
As Technical Manager, you’ll lead the Group’s technology and innovation strategy, working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team across different companies in the group.
You’ll provide oversight across R&D teams, establish standardised processes and design principles, and drive product compliance, engineering tool harmonisation and long-term technology strategy across the Group.

A product design background would be very beneficial for this role to drive development of commercially successful physical products.
Requirements
Technical Manager requirements:
People management
- Previous experience in a senior technology / R&D leadership role
- Product design experience
- Experience implementing Group-wide R&D processes and methodologies
- Product compliance and regulatory standards experience
- Strong understanding of design principles, product development and engineering methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management skills across Engineering, Operations, Finance and Product
