ADVANCE YOUR CAREER. ADVANCE THE WORLD.

At AMD, we believe technology can change lives for the better. It can heal us, entertain us, and make us more connected, productive, and understanding of the world around us. And we’re looking for talent who feel the same: people who want to leave the planet better than they found it, those who don’t shy away from humanity’s challenges but are determined to help solve them.

AMD is powering the next generation of supercomputing, high-performance computing, cloud, and AI. Whether you’re designing next-gen processors, enabling AI breakthroughs, or creating go-to-market plans, every role at AMD contributes to something bigger — technology that moves the world forward.

The Role

The person in the role of Technical Marketing Engineer for AMD-AECG is a motivated individual who contributes to the Vivado and next generation tool product roadmap to serve customer needs. This person supports feature validation, documentation, training materials and customer enablement across the full breadth of Vivado tool areas. Technical Marketing works closely with product planning, R&D, applications engineering, and customers to improve the FPGA and Adaptive SoC design process and enable the next generation of designs and methodologies. The environment is fast moving, global, and focused on emerging technologies.

The Person

The successful Technical Marketing Engineer contributes to defining, validating, and supporting Vivado tools and methodologies across the full tool suite — including design flows, simulation, debug, IP integration, implementation, scripting, and deployment. This person is eager to learn, works well under guidance from senior team members, and is developing the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both internal and external audiences. We operate with an agentic AI-first mindset and expect team members to actively incorporate AI into how they work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
