A speciality chemicals supplier to the cosmetic and life science sector has partnered with Woodstock Recruitment once again to hire a new technical marketing specialist to the team. This role would suit a recent life science graduate, with great communication skills, and would ideally come with a little industrial experience in life sciences, either post-graduate or gained through a placement year.

What you will do:

  • Digital Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the Technical Innovation Manager to develop and implement a digital marketing strategy for the Life Science sector.
  • Event Organisation: Manage and oversee our presence at physical events such as industry exhibitions and customer events.
  • Lead & KPI Monitoring: Track and respond to digital marketing leads, monitoring KPIs to assess campaign performance.
  • Social Media Marketing: Develop and execute campaigns across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms.
  • Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry developments and ensure the team receives regular updates on relevant trends.
  • Content Creation: Produce marketing materials, including brochures, technical articles, social media content, and other assets for campaigns.
  • Internal & External Communication: Update internal teams and external stakeholders about company marketing activities.
  • Sales Support: Assist sales managers using “soft” selling techniques and support overall sales efforts.
  • Relationship Management: Aid product managers in maintaining strong relationships with key principals in various business units.
  • Business Unit Collaboration: Support key business units, including Personal Care, Home Care, Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals, Waxes, etc.
  • Holiday/Absence Cover: Provide support for colleagues during their absences.

  • BSc or higher in a life science subject (essential)
  • Driving licence and own car (essential)
  • Competent IT user (essential)
  • Great communication skills
  • Some post graduate or industrial year experience in the life science sector (preferable)
  • Any digital marketing experience (preferable)
