The Role

Are you an experienced Technical M&E Account Manager within Facilities Management, with a strong technical background and a passion for building strategic client relationships while delivering operational excellence?

We are looking for an experienced Technical M&E Account Manager to take overall responsibility for the delivery of Hard FM and M&E services across a high-profile corporate client account in the City of London.

This is a senior, client-facing position requiring a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services, combined with excellent leadership, commercial management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

You will lead the site-based engineering and operational teams and take responsibility for ensuring services are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a consistently high standard.

The role requires someone who is equally comfortable engaging with senior client stakeholders, managing budgets and contract performance, leading engineering teams, and taking ownership of technical incidents and operational escalations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of Hard FM and M&E services across the account, ensuring consistently high standards of service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact and escalation for technical and operational matters.
  • Lead, manage, and develop site-based engineering and operational teams, ensuring appropriate resources, competence, training, and performance.
  • Ensure statutory, contractual, and Health & Safety compliance across all engineering services and activities.
  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and remedial works, ensuring contractual and KPI requirements are achieved.
  • Take ownership of technical incidents, service failures, and operational escalations, ensuring appropriate investigation, communication, corrective actions, and close-out.
  • Develop and deliver strategic account plans to achieve financial, operational, and service objectives.
  • Lead the financial management of the account, including budgets, forecasting, contract performance, variations, additional works, and cost control.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, deliver cost savings, and provide additional value to the client.
  • Manage specialist subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring performance, quality, compliance, and commercial expectations are achieved.
  • Ensure CAFM information, compliance records, asset information, and performance data are accurate and maintained to the required standard.
  • Deliver regular client reporting, including performance reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for service improvement, innovation, continuous improvement, and account development.
  • Drive collaboration across engineering teams, operational teams, suppliers, and client stakeholders.
  • Champion a positive culture of Health & Safety, Quality, Compliance, and continuous improvement across the account.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
