Job Details

Job Location: LISBURN BT28 2LU

We are seeking a technically minded and ambitious Technical Operations Engineer to support, optimise and enhance Building Management System operations across a diverse customer portfolio through the ConexOS platform. This role is designed for an individual who wishes to broaden their knowledge across multiple BMS control technologies and customer environments whilst actively contributing to the enhancement and evolution of the ConexOS platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support across multiple BMS and smart building platforms.
  • Monitor customer estates through ConexOS and identify operational issues and optimisation opportunities.
  • Support remote commissioning, validation and customer onboarding activities.
  • Analyse alarms, trends, telemetry and asset performance data.
  • Support platform enhancement, testing and deployment of new ConexOS functionality.
  • Create and maintain support documentation, knowledge articles and operational procedures.
  • Produce technical and customer-facing reports.
  • Share technical knowledge across Bureau, Operations and Engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of RDM and TDB programming.
  • Understanding of BMS architecture, controllers, sensors and IoT devices.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and/or Refrigeration systems.
  • Experience with BMS graphics, alarms, trends and system navigation.
  • Ability to interrogate and multitask across multiple systems and customers.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency and optimisation techniques.
  • Familiarity with commissioning principles and fault-finding methodologies.
  • Experience with remote connectivity solutions and VPNs.
  • Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, MQTT and other common BMS protocols.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles for connected operational technology environments.
  • Experience in creating reports for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Creation and maintenance of support knowledge and process documentation.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
