Technical Operations Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Operations Lead based in United Kingdom.

This is a hands-on technical operations role focused on turning operational problems into scalable systems, automations, and repeatable processes.

You will own projects end to end, from identifying what needs to exist and defining the solution to building, launching, documenting, and embedding it within the organization.

The work spans CRM architecture, workflow automation, reporting, integrations, AI-enabled processes, and internal product development.

You will operate with significant autonomy, often receiving an outcome or business problem rather than a fully defined specification.

The environment is fast-moving and highly asynchronous, with minimal meetings and a strong bias toward practical execution and shipping.

You will work across operations, sales, account management, leadership, and development teams to improve how work gets done.

The ideal person combines technical curiosity, strong systems thinking, hands-on building ability, and the judgment to make things stick long after launch.

Accountabilities

  • Own technical operations projects from problem identification through implementation, adoption, documentation, and ongoing improvement.
  • Translate business problems and desired outcomes into practical systems, workflows, automations, and technical solutions without relying on detailed specifications.
  • Migrate and standardize meeting-booking and website form processes using HubSpot and establish consistent structures across the organization.
  • Architect HubSpot segmentation and CRM structures so reporting, routing, and operational workflows rely on clear and scalable data models.
  • Connect platforms such as Google Search Console, GA4, and Merchant Center with AI tools to automate analysis, reporting, alerts, and insights for client-facing teams.
  • Identify and automate repetitive processes across client account management, sales, partnerships, and joint-venture operations.
  • Improve lead-generation and email workflows by focusing on measurable outcomes such as clicks, replies, engagement, and business impact rather than activity volume alone.
  • Systematize operational processes such as content audits so quality standards become embedded in repeatable workflows rather than dependent on individual effort.
  • Take ownership of the management and development of an existing internal product, including improving its systems and ensuring its continued effectiveness.
  • Write, modify, test, and debug code when required, using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate implementation while maintaining technical quality.
  • Work with APIs, integrations, automation platforms, CRM systems, reporting tools, and internal workflows to build practical solutions.
  • Document systems, workflows, and processes clearly so they can be operated and maintained by others.
  • Drive adoption after implementation, working with stakeholders to ensure new processes become part of normal day-to-day operations.
  • Diagnose systems that are producing inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading results even when no obvious errors are visible.
  • Continuously identify manual, inefficient, fragmented, or unnecessarily repetitive work and determine where systems or automation can create durable improvements.
  • Collaborate directly with operational leadership and other stakeholders while working autonomously and making decisions with limited information.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
