OVERVIEW
Eclipse Presentations is an industry leader in live event production, where we craft unforgettable experiences for clients through our cutting-edge audio-visual and scenic solutions. Our dedicated team of professionals brings exceptional events to life in all scales and formats. Currently, we're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Operations Manager to join our team at a prestigious Hotel in the city of London.
This is an exciting and fast-paced technical operations manager role. The successful candidate should have the ability and the experience to provide technical guidance and production manage a wide range of events for internal and external clients.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Event & Production Management
- Execute end-to-end production for low- to mid-scale events and conferences, managing everything from initial budgeting to final execution.
- Support Production Managers on large-scale events, acting as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams across various B2B projects.
- Coordinate closely with key internal and external production stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery.

Operations & Logistics
- Maintain full oversight of all onsite technical systems, equipment inventory, and logistical workflows.
- Liaise with external third-party vendors to source specialized technical equipment and supplemental labour.
- Promote and market the company’s technical production services to drive business growth.
Team Leadership & Compliance
- Manage and schedule the technician team, providing clear line management, performance guidance, and shift allocation.
- Enforce a safe production environment by managing health and safety compliance, risk assessments, and necessary permits.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service to maintain strong client relationships and retention.
Experience Required
- Minimum of 2 years of proven event production experience, preferably within a commercial or B2B environment.
- Deep technical expertise across core event technologies, including lighting, audio, projection, and LED systems.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing, scheduling, and developing technical personnel or crew.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple production workflows simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and troubleshoot complex technical issues under high-pressure, live-event conditions.
- Proven flexibility to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams as well as independently with minimal supervision.
