PERMANENT JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN TELFORD: TECHNICAL OPERATOR

Have you previously worked as a Technical Operator, Production Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Machine Setter Operator, Process Operator, Process Technician, Skilled Machine Operator, Machine Setter, or Skilled Machinist, and are you happy working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (rotating 12 hour days and nights)?

We are looking for 12 Technical Operators to join a leading food manufacturing business in Telford (Shropshire). These positions are permanent positions from day 1, and the company can interview people straight away.

Salary: Starting salary of A GBP 35,115 per annum (initially rising to A GBP 41,200 per annum, before finally increasing to just under A GBP 45,500 per annum once fully signed off)

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days and Nights, including weekends)

As a Technical Operator, Your Daily Duties Will Include

  • Setup and Optimization: Perform rapid changeovers to minimize downtime and maximize output.
  • Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and machine cleaning to ensure peak performance.
  • Problem Solving: Use process fault-tree tools to identify issues and implement immediate solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct pre-use checks to ensure every product meets our high-quality standards.

What You Will Bring

  • Experience: Previous experience within a similar manufacturing or engineering role - ESSENTIAL
  • Technical Skill: A strong mechanical aptitude and proven ability to operate, set up, and maintain complex manufacturing equipment - ESSENTIAL
  • Safety Mindset: A strong commitment to health and safety standards.
  • Communication: Someone who is a strong communicator that can work well in a team (or as an individual when required), and someone who can work closely with the Management team.
  • Location: Residing within a 25-mile radius of Telford, Shropshire.
