About The Opportunity

Are you an experienced, Level 4 Diploma qualified Technical Paraplanner looking for a role where your technical expertise truly makes an impact? This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected financial planning firm in Fareham as a Technical Client Support professional, working closely with advisers and clients to deliver high-quality, tailored financial solutions.

This is a highly technical, client-facing role where you’ll be involved in every stage of the advice process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Client Meetings: Sitting in on client meetings alongside the adviser to understand objectives and provide technical input.
  • Technical Analysis: Performing complex calculations, research, and cashflow modelling at Level 4+ expertise.
  • Report Writing: Producing detailed suitability reports in-house (with some reports outsourced to chartered paraplanners).
  • Research & Planning: Conducting in-depth product and provider research, supporting the adviser with technical recommendations.

You’ll be the adviser’s right-hand person for technical work, ensuring clients receive accurate, compliant, and tailored advice.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential).
  • Experience: Strong paraplanning background with exposure to complex technical work.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
  • Mindset: A proactive, client-focused approach and ability to work collaboratively with advisers.

Working Arrangements

On-site, Hybrid, or Remote: This role offers flexibility for fully remote (with 2 days office presence per month for team meetings/inclusion) or fully on-site working.
