Paraplanner – Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paraplanner to support Financial Advisers in delivering high-quality, compliant financial advice. The Paraplanner will be responsible for research, analysis, report writing, and ensuring recommendations align with client objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed suitability reports in line with FCA requirements
- Conduct research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection, and other financial planning products
- Analyse client fact-finds and assess financial objectives
- Undertake cashflow modelling and scenario planning
- Liaise with product providers to obtain information, illustrations, and valuations
- Ensure all client files are compliant and audit-ready
- Support advisers with technical queries and complex case work
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using back-office systems

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Paraplanner role within an IFA or wealth management firm
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and financial planning products
- Experience preparing suitability reports
- Working knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial planning software (e.g., Intelligent Office, Xplan, FE Analytics, CashCalc)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills
