Are you an experienced Technical Paraplanner looking to join a growing, Chartered Financial Planning firm where technical expertise and quality advice are highly valued?

Chester Rose Financial Planning is seeking a technically strong and experienced Paraplanner to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of financial planning and wants to develop their expertise within a supportive, high-quality advice environment.

You will work closely with our Financial Planners, providing high-quality technical and research support across a broad range of complex client cases.

What you'll be doing

  • Producing high-quality suitability reports and recommendation letters
  • Conducting detailed technical research across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning
  • Supporting Financial Planners with complex client cases and financial planning strategies
  • Preparing cashflow modelling and financial planning analysis
  • Reviewing existing client arrangements and identifying planning opportunities
  • Researching and analysing appropriate solutions to support client recommendations
  • Working closely with Financial Planners to ensure advice is technically robust and delivered to a high standard
  • Supporting the preparation of client meetings and advice recommendations
  • Ensuring client records and documentation are maintained accurately and to the highest standard
  • Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, regulation and industry developments

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 3 years' Paraplanning experience
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning
  • Excellent technical, analytical and report-writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • The ability to research complex technical issues and clearly communicate findings
  • A proactive and organised approach to managing a varied workload
  • The ability to work effectively with Financial Planners and other members of the team
  • A genuine interest in developing and maintaining strong technical expertise
