Job Opportunity: Technical Paraplanner

Are you a highly technical career Paraplanner seeking a matching role where your expertise will be truly valued? This Technical Paraplanner opportunity offers the perfect blend of complex casework, career development, and work-life balance with an award-winning wealth management firm.

As a Technical Paraplanner, you'll be the technical backbone supporting Financial Advisers and Planning Executives, delivering comprehensive suitability reports across pensions, investments, and protection. This Technical Paraplanner position requires someone who thrives on intricate research, whole-of-market analysis, and producing meticulously detailed recommendations that meet the highest compliance standards.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Analysing client portfolios
  • Conducting asset allocation research
  • Liaising with the Regulatory & Technical team to ensure advice excellence
  • Managing your own pipeline
  • Prioritising complex cases whilst maintaining strong relationships with advisers and third-party providers

Technical Paraplanner Requirements

  • Essential: CII Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum qualification)
  • Essential: Proven experience within independent financial planning firm producing complex recommendation reports
  • Essential: Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection products
  • Desirable: Holding or working towards Chartered status
  • Desirable: Experience with holistic financial planning and regulatory compliance
  • Desirable: Proficiency with back-office systems and MS Office suite

Technical Paraplanner Benefits
