Job Title: Technical Paraplanner

Location: Wiltshire
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Service Care Solutions are delighted to be working with a well-established firm as they look for a Technical Paraplanner due to internal promotion. The firm is forward-thinking, multi-award-winning, and invests in the development and progression of their staff with extensive training and courses.

About the Role

This role is key to supporting the technical team in providing financial advice to a wide range of clients, ensuring all duties are carried out effectively and in line with firm standards.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Supporting the consultants ahead of meetings
  • Preparing compliant, technical suitability reports and ‘Financial Life Plan’ reports detailing the consultant’s recommendations for the client
  • Carrying out technical research and analyzing data collected on behalf of clients
  • Accurately investing client money based on the consultants' recommendations post-client meetings
  • Liaising with clients post-meetings, answering technical queries
  • Being proactive in identifying investments/tax-saving opportunities for clients
  • Evaluating investment portfolios with consultants
  • Liaising and working closely with the Service Team

What You Will Have

  • Level 4 Diploma as a minimum with experience post-qualification
  • Experience in a Paraplanner role for a minimum of 3 years
  • Experience with Cashflows
  • Great technical ability with experience of dealing with a range of clients
  • Strong knowledge of IT, MS Word & Excel, and back-office system experience

  • Base Salary of £40,000 - £50,000
