About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and analytical individual to join our Strategic Planning team and support the development of our Drainage and Wastewater Management Plan (DWMP). This role offers the opportunity to play an important part in shaping how we plan and invest in wastewater services for the future.
Working alongside strategic planners, data and GIS specialists, stakeholder engagement leads and technical experts, you'll help gather, analyse and interpret information that supports long-term planning and decision-making. You'll contribute to the development of plans and strategies that help ensure our wastewater network remains resilient, sustainable and fit for the future.
You'll be involved in reviewing evidence, assessing options and exploring innovative approaches to wastewater and drainage challenges. The role also provides opportunities to work with a wide range of colleagues, partners and stakeholders, helping to ensure our plans are practical, supported and aligned with operational and investment priorities.

About You
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, curious and eager to develop their career in strategic planning. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career, or with some relevant experience, who is looking to build their knowledge of the water sector while developing valuable analytical, planning and stakeholder engagement skills.

You don't need to be an expert in wastewater or drainage planning. We're more interested in finding someone who enjoys working with information, asking questions, solving problems and collaborating with others to achieve shared goals. You'll be comfortable working with data and technical information, have strong organisational skills and be confident communicating with a variety of colleagues and stakeholders.
