The Role

As our Technical Production Specialist, you'll take the lead behind the scenes, combining broadcast expertise with hands-on problem solving to ensure every webcast runs flawlessly from start to finish.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the technical delivery of live, virtual and hybrid webcast productions.
  • Operate, configure and maintain professional broadcast, AV and studio equipment.
  • Set up cameras, lighting, audio and vision mixing for high-quality live broadcasts.
  • Prepare studios and production systems, carrying out testing and technical checks before every event.
  • Troubleshoot live production issues quickly to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Configure webcast platforms, presentations, graphics and remote contributors.
  • Collaborate with Producers, clients, presenters and external suppliers to deliver exceptional live events.
  • Support the ongoing development of our studio, broadcast workflows and technical best practices.
  • Contribute to platform testing, process improvements and the adoption of new broadcast technologies.

About You

  • Proven experience operating professional AV, broadcast and live streaming equipment within a live production environment.
  • Hands-on experience with sound desks, broadcast and PTZ cameras, vision mixers, studio lighting and audio systems.
  • Strong knowledge of webcast platforms, streaming software, encoders and IP-based workflows, including NDI and Dante.
  • Experience delivering live, virtual and hybrid events, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
  • Good understanding of broadcast infrastructure, networking, HTML/CSS, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience using live production software such as vMix, OBS Studio, Wirecast or similar.
  • Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple productions simultaneously.
  • A collaborative approach with the confidence to share technical expertise and support the development of colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends to support live events.
