Principal Technical Product Owner

12 month contract

Inside IR35

2 days a week onsite Edinburgh or London

Job Description

The senior Technical Product owner will lead an analysis team through a transformational roadmap following the launch of a new Salesforce stack, shaping the strategic definition and delivery of CRM capabilities across a wider technology ecosystem. The role combines hands-on CRM analysis, people leadership and senior stakeholder engagement to drive value-focused, customer-centric transformation initiatives.

Essential Skills

  • Extensive experience as a Lead or Principal Analyst within a CRM transformation environment.
  • Proven background acting as a Technical Product Owner or equivalent role for Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM within a Business OS context, including complex multi-product, multi-segment and multi-channel implementations.
  • Strong understanding of Communications Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud, or comparable CRM cloud capabilities, and how they integrate within a wider enterprise ecosystem.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering large-scale CRM transformations, including SaaS and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) implementations.
  • Advanced stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus with senior business and technical leaders.
  • Proven ability to manage complex programme dependencies and work effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable CRM capabilities, features and user stories.
  • Clear, concise communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for senior stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration.
  • A track record of delivering customer-centric solutions and driving continuous improvement in CRM processes and capabilities.
