Technical Product Manager — Digital Rights Management (Onsite / London) | #3142
The Mission
Own the rollout of a new digital rights management system for a global media and publishing company managing one of the world's largest catalogs of video, image, audio, and font assets. Your mission is to give every business unit worldwide a single, well-governed system for managing rights across every asset the company acquires, produces, and publishes.
The Role
As the dedicated Technical Product Manager, you'll be the technical and administrative backbone of the rollout, working across regions and media types.
- System Ownership: Become the product owner of the rights management system, guiding requirements, configuration, training, and reporting across every phase of deployment.
- Global Governance: Partner with architecture and business unit leads to set system-wide configuration standards and keep every region consistent.
- Workflow Design: Translate complex legal and editorial workflows into streamlined, automated processes.
- Training & Support: Run training sessions for new users and act as the escalation point for complex system issues.
- Release Management: Evaluate new features, manage global rollouts, and lead technical validation of updates.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Own the data flows between the system and other enterprise tools, including ERPs and data warehouses.

The "Must-Haves"
- 3 to 5 years of SaaS governance experience for an enterprise system, at a mid-to-senior level
- Experience with legal, rights management, or media supply chain workflows (IP management, contract management, or media asset governance)
- Comfortable with REST APIs and webhooks for real-time data exchange across systems
- Experience with RBAC, SSO, and maintaining compliance with security frameworks like SOC 2
- Strong communicator who can ask clarifying questions, explain technical and non-technical trade-offs, and help define API specifications
- Based in London, with three days a week required onsite

The "Bonus" Skills
- Direct experience with Rightsline or a comparable rights/DRM system
- SQL and Snowflake experience for building cross-departmental reporting dashboards
- Logic-based workflow automation (e.g., DateMath or conditional rules)
- Exposure to building AI-powered features for legal or editorial workflows
