Location: Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, Austria, Netherlands, UK, Belgium

💼 About the role

PQShield is looking for an Experienced IP Product Manager to expand our Product team. Candidates should hold a degree in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent. We hope that you have at least 7 years of experience, but also an open, research-oriented mindset.

This is a highly technical role, and you will sit at the critical intersection of software, firmware, and hardware architecture, hence you must have experience with embedded software, security architecture, and/or digital design. We would welcome applications from Engineers, Security Architects, Design Engineers who are looking to move into Product Management.

We have been established since 2018, so you would be directly working with the founders and inventors of this deep tech startup. Technology is already a couple of years in the making, its feasibility having been established, funding secured, and it has a clear path to market. This is a great opportunity for career progression and to get a head start in a rapidly expanding segment of the semiconductor industry (Post-Quantum Cryptography and RISC-V). Our platform IP components come together as a RISC-V MCU based Sub-system with advanced post-quantum cryptography algorithm support and security features.

⚒️ What you’ll be doing

  • Work with key customers and ecosystem partners to integrate our security solutions into broader system architectures.
  • Act as the primary bridge between hardware engineering, software/firmware teams, security architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to critically prioritize product backlogs, balance technical debt with commercial features, and make tough trade-offs between area, power, performance, and security (PPAS).
  • Author comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and technical specifications that translate complex cryptographic standards into actionable hardware engineering requirements.
  • Define and drive the multi-year product roadmap for hardware security IPs and cryptographic solutions, aligning with market trends and customer requirements.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and industry trends related to Post-Quantum Cryptography for platform security and hardware accelerators.
  • Define product requirements, features, and roadmaps for our entire product portfolio of hardware products based on customer feedback, market insights, and latest technology developments.
  • Work closely with tech leads and sales to align product roadmaps.
  • Measure product performance utilising data from internal and other data sources.
  • Continuous improvement of our product development processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
