Technical Product Manager

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)

Location: Hybrid, 2 days per week in London office

Harris Hill is delighted to be supporting an award-winning charity with a strong technology and innovation focus, on the appointment of a Technical Product Manager.

This is a hands-on and varied opportunity to lead the technical delivery of products and new innovations, working across face-to-face, e-commerce and mobile channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Providing technical support to partners and merchants across the product range.
  • Owning product and technical documentation from creation through to maintenance.
  • Scoping requirements and managing end-to-end and UAT testing and validation against agreed requirements.
  • Delivering product development projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Championing best-practice UX/UI and customer donation journeys across third-party integrations.
  • Developing and maintaining a product roadmap aligned with business priorities and customer needs.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of the organisation’s digital solutions, APIs, e-commerce integrations and Android applications, and how they work across different payment channels.
  • Identifying emerging payment technologies, trends and customer behaviours that could inform future products.
  • Managing external developers, technology partners and vendors, ensuring clear communication and delivery against agreed timelines.
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to define, prioritise and communicate product requirements.

You will have

  • Experience of product management and the development lifecycle, including Agile and sprint-based delivery.
  • Proven project management and prioritisation skills, with experience scoping projects and managing competing deadlines.
  • Experience of UAT and end-to-end technical testing, including analysing results against scope and release requirements.
  • Experience designing and refining test cases, ideally using tools such as Jira and Postman.
  • A good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, APIs and JSON/XML.
  • Digital experience across e-commerce integrations, Android applications, UX/UI and customer journeys.
  • Experience managing external developers, technology partners or vendors.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear product and technical documentation.
