Location: Nottingham & the surrounding area
Working Style: Hybrid (work from home, attend the office for ad-hoc meetings & events, and attend customer sites when required)
Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 DOE

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, and highly technically capable Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy & direction of our client’s software & platform portfolio. Working closely with the CTO, you will leverage your expertise & experience to develop product roadmaps, organise & prioritise engineering workflows, influence investment decisions, and ensure strategies align with customer needs, technical capabilities, and commercial business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership:
- Own and develop the strategy and roadmap across a portfolio of internal and customer-facing technology products, platforms, and APIs.
- Partner with the CTO and key stakeholders to shape investment, prioritisation and long-term product direction, balancing customer needs, commercial value, technical feasibility and delivery capacity.
- Support go-to-market activity and drive the growth, adoption and ongoing development of the portfolio.
Agile Delivery & Technical Development:
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to scope enhancements, integrations and new functionality requests, prioritising activity and pushing back when appropriate.
- Using Agile methodologies and Jira/DevOps tools, lead epic, story & sprint planning, task delegation, and manage backlogs, ensuring activities remain aligned with strategies and capacity.
- Work with internal engineers and UI/UX partners to improve usability, customer experience, and processes, supporting long-term product value.
- Personally produce designs for non-complex UI/UX changes, leveraging your own technical capabilities & basic Figma skills.

Stakeholder Engagement & Product Representative:
- Act as the central link between technical teams, commercial stakeholders and customers, translating requirements and maintaining alignment.
- Represent the product portfolio internally and externally, clearly communicating product capabilities and technical concepts to varied audiences.
- Represent the product externally and support commercial activity, including attending customer meetings alongside Sales, acting as the subject matter expert, and conducting product demonstrations where appropriate.
- Own and maintain accurate, consistent customer-facing and internal product documentation.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager or similar within a B2B technology, software, SaaS or platform environment.
- Experience owning, leading, and influencing live commercial products or portfolio roadmaps.
- Strong technical capabilities with recent hands-on and strategic experience with APIs, systems integrations or platform-based products, and exposure to external UI/UX partners, Figma or similar prototyping tools.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments using Jira, Confluence or similar tools
- Experience assessing technical/solution feasibility, integrations, and technical trade-offs.
- Experience balancing stakeholder requirements, commercial priorities, customer needs and delivery capacity when making roadmap decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging technical and commercial audiences.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities, technology and customer requirements continue to evolve.
- Beneficial but not essential: Experience managing multiple products and exposure to device lifecycle or endpoint management, patch management, infrastructure tooling or related technology solutions.
