The Role
Technology is at the heart of MAG's ambition to become the world's most intelligent airport group.
As our Technology Product Manager for Landside Technology, you'll lead the strategy, development and delivery of a critical technology portfolio that shapes how millions of passengers arrive, park, pay and access our airports every year.
This is far more than a traditional product management role. You'll be responsible for driving the digital transformation of landside operations across Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands Airports, delivering innovative solutions that improve customer experiences, unlock operational efficiencies and support significant commercial growth.
From barrierless parking and seamless online payments to EV charging, smart access management and next-generation car park systems, you'll own a roadmap that directly impacts both our customers and colleagues.

Working closely with operational teams, senior stakeholders, technology partners and suppliers, you'll translate business challenges into innovative product solutions that help redefine the future of airport travel.
Accountabilities
- Define and lead the Landside Technology product strategy and roadmap across the MAG airport network.
- Drive the digitisation of landside products and services, creating seamless customer and colleague experiences.
- Lead the delivery of innovative car parking solutions, including barrierless payment technology and next-generation barrier systems.
- Own the development and enhancement of Meet & Greet technology products and services.
- Deliver key management and access control improvements that support operational efficiency and security.
- Lead EV charging initiatives, including charging infrastructure, customer and colleague billing solutions and future growth opportunities.
- Work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Prioritise product backlogs and investment decisions based on customer value, operational impact and commercial benefit.
- Partner with architects, engineers, delivery teams and suppliers to ensure successful product delivery.
- Develop product performance measures and customer outcome KPIs, ensuring solutions deliver measurable business value.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts and technology partnerships across your product estate.
- Lead and support Product Owners and Business Analysts, creating clarity, focus and momentum around the product vision.
What Will Make You Successful In This Role?
We're looking for an experienced product leader who enjoys solving complex operational challenges through technology and innovation.
You'll bring:
Essential
- Experience owning and delivering technology products from strategy through to implementation.
- Strong product management expertise, including roadmap development, prioritisation and agile delivery practices.
- Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups and influencing senior decision makers.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to balance customer outcomes, operational needs and business value.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering change in complex environments.

Desirable
- Experience within airports, transport, travel, mobility, parking or operational technology environments.
- Experience of payment platforms, access control, parking technology or customer-facing digital products.
- Knowledge of EV charging ecosystems, digital commerce or smart infrastructure technologies.
- Experience working with large-scale transformation programmes and multi-site operational environments.
