About The Role

As a Document Management Technical Product Owner, you’ll take technical ownership of the systems used to create, manage, approve, store and retain documents across the firm.

Reporting to the Engineering Team Lead, you’ll work with Business Product Owners, Engineering, Architecture, Service teams, governance stakeholders and suppliers to translate business needs into secure, scalable and practical solutions.

You’ll be the technical subject-matter expert for M-Files and DocuSign, while supporting document capabilities across SharePoint, workflow platforms, network file structures and other business systems.

  • Owning technical roadmaps, backlogs and platform improvements.
  • Designing secure and user-friendly document processes and solutions.
  • Translating business and Information Governance requirements into technical controls.
  • Improving document workflows, integrations, metadata and automation.
  • Supporting platform upgrades, testing, releases and operational handovers.
  • Assessing legacy repositories and supporting controlled content migrations.
  • Maintaining clear technical, configuration and support documentation.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience owning technical products or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of document management technologies, ideally including M-Files and DocuSign.
  • Experience with information architecture, metadata, classification and document workflows.
  • An understanding of document retention, access, auditability and records management requirements.
  • Experience translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of testing, release management, migration and service transition.
  • Strong communication, workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
