Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About the role

The role owns the analytical and project management rigour behind delivery: requirements traceability, impact and risk assessment, project planning, RAID logs, and stakeholder reporting. Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    • Engaging with the Tech Lead on engineering feasibility, technical resourcing and roadmap planning
    • Reporting project status, risks and dependencies to the Head of Product Delivery and Programme Manager
    • Communicating requirements, priorities and delivery plans clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Business Analysis & Requirements Documentation

    • Producing clear, traceable requirements specifications, process flows and acceptance criteria for new products and features
    • Converting business requirements into well-defined technical deliverables in partnership with the Tech Lead and Engineering team
    • Understand technical nuance of proposed solutions to playback to technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Ensure team is balancing pragmatism and technical excellence in proposed solutions
  • Project & Delivery Planning

    • Developing and maintaining project plans, milestones and dependency maps across business and technical work streams to maintain alignment to broader programmes
    • Owning RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) and driving mitigation actions to closure
    • Monitoring delivery progress against plan, flagging slippage early and re-planning as required
    • Supporting resourcing and capacity planning conversations with the Tech Lead to ensure delivery remains on track
  • Risk, Issue & Change Management

    • Proactively identifying, logging and escalating risks, issues and blockers relating to scope, business value, implementation and priority
    • Managing change requests through impact assessment, approval and re-baselining of plans
    • Ensuring the delivery team is not blocked and has a clear path to resolution on open issues
  • Solution Analysis & Business Case Support

    • Focusing on user flows and business outcomes, ensuring requirements are grounded in the problem to be solved rather than a prescribed technical solution
    • Reviewing technical solution designs (produced by the Tech Lead) against business and client requirements
